Professor Pulse joined the CTS faculty in 2007. Following graduation from Concordia Teachers College in Seward, NE with a BS in Elementary Education, he attended Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, completing his M.Div. in 1984. His twenty-two years in the parish were served in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Burt, IA (9.5 yrs) and Peace Lutheran, Bremerton, WA (12.5 yrs.) He completed his S.T.M. from CTS, Fort Wayne while in the parish in 1990. Professor Pulse is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Durham, England in the area of OT, specifically, Concepts of the Afterlife in the Old Testament and Second Temple Judaism.
