GREEK TUITION GRANT POLICY – SUMMER 2005
To: Summer Greek Students Summer Greek students are eligible for a grant-in-aid equal to fifty percent (50%) of the cost of tuition. In order to be eligible, you must be a student who has been accepted in the Master of Divinity Program or an Alternate Routes program. To apply for this grant, complete the simple online application for below and transmit it to the Office of Financial Aid. Your grant-in-aid will appear on your statement. No special award letter will be sent. It is only necessary to return this form if you are taking Summer Greek. (Grants for Fall Greek will be considered as part of your financial aid for the 2005-06 academic year). This grant is available only to first-time students in Greek. If you have attempted this course previously at CTS, you are not eligible. This grant applies only to tuition and does not cover any of the cost of books, fees, room and board or other expenses. If you plan (or tentatively plan) to take out a Stafford Loan for the summer session, you must file a FAFSA for the 2004-05 school year, since the seminary's summer classes are at the end of the seminary's academic year. Note: The 2005-06 FAFSA is required for the school year that begins with fall 2005! Stafford Loan application forms for 04-05 are available from the financial aid web page. Stafford Loans may be processed at any time while the Greek class is in session. However, if you plan to use your Stafford Loan to pay your room and board charges, please bear in mind that these fees are due on June 30 and a loan can take up to two weeks to process.
