Continuing Education Benefits YOU!

Continuing Education for summer 2008 will be available at 24 sites from Seattle, Washington to Port Charlotte, Florida. Each opportunity for clergy and laypeople will allow you to:

† GROW in your knowledge and understanding of biblical and theological matters at seminars and retreats scheduled throughout the United States.

† REFRESH your mind and find new enthusiasm. Retreat to the study of God's Word in a relaxed, informal atmosphere and return to your congregation equipped with new information.

† CONNECT with others who, like you, are searching for biblical insights into the challenges you face at home, in the world, and in the church.

"Luther spoke of prayer, meditation, and temptation 'making' a theologian," stated Dr. Lawrence Rast, CTS Academic Dean. "He saw this as a life-long endeavor. The ongoing-education opportunities at CTS, for both laypeople and clergy, capture Luther's notion of continued spiritual growth in one's understanding of God's Word by addressing issues facing the church today."

Continuing Education Units (CEU), a measure of professional growth established by the Commission on Ministerial Growth and Support of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, may be earned for these courses.
