Placement of the Candidate
Certification of the candidate for placement will be the responsibility of the faculty. Placement of the candidate will be by the Council of Presidents of The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod in consultation with the seminary placement officer.

Requirements for Vicarage Assignment
Successful completion of all academic requirements on the Preseminary, Seminary I and Seminary II levels is ordinarily considered a prerequisite for vicarage. Eligibility for vicarage assignment is determined by the Committee on Certification and Placement through the Registrar’s Office. For more information on the Vicarage program, click here. Upon endorsement of the faculty, students are assigned a vicarage by the Council of Presidents of The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod.
