CTSFW Website Redesigned With Ease of Use in Mind
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (CTSFW)—
Concordia Theological Seminary (CTSFW), Fort Wayne, Indiana, has completed a redesign of its website, www.ctsfw.edu. “Technology is always moving forward and the Church continues to move with it,” commented the Rev. Bill Johnson, director of Education Technology. “By making our site more user-friendly and accessible, we hope to make it easier for God’s people to find the information they’re looking for from their Seminary.”
One of the major goals of the redesign was to streamline the site so users can pinpoint exactly the information they need; whether it be a prospective student wanting to schedule a visit, a current student wanting to register for classes or a layperson looking for resources to enhance his or her devotional life.
“The site renovation allows us to provide a new, clean, better organized way to communicate,” explained Johnson. “This was helped immensely by separating information for the Seminary community (such as forms and course schedules) from information for prospective students and donors. Faculty, staff and students can find much of what they’re looking for at my.ctsfw.edu or by clicking on MyCTSFW on the new web page. This removes much of the clutter from the new site, making it easier for those we serve to find the information they need.”
The CTSFW community is dedicated to resourcing the Church in venues all around the world. One way we can best do that is by using the technology available to us in the most effective ways as we continue to form servants in Jesus Christ who teach the faithful, reach the lost and care for all.
