CraemerIn 1850, the Rev. F. A. Craemer began a 41-year tenure as teacher and later President of the Fort Wayne Seminary. He oversaw the transfer of the campus to St. Louis in 1861 and the move to the Springfield, Illinois site in 1875. His wife, Dorothea, joined him as an unselfish supporter of Seminary students, garnering for her the title "Mother Craemer."

Gifts at the Craemer Society levels equal the cost of one quarter's (15 credit hours) to one year's tuition obligation. Most Master of Divinity student's follow a three semester (45 credit hour) annual program. Gifts can be given to any program or area of interest at Concordia Theological Seminary or to expand any established endowment fund. Your gifts may also create a new endowment fund. Earned income from endowment funds may benefit any Seminary-approved program.
