Johannes Konrad Wilhelm Loehe rallied support for the training of pastors to be sent to America from his home in Germany. After reading the works of Rev. Wyneken, he organized his own school near Nuremberg for the training of "Sendlinge" (missionaries). In addition, he raised funds in Germany to assist his friends in America, recruited others to write books and published tracts and newspapers pleading the cause of pastoral training in America.

Gifts at the Loehe Society levels represent the costs of one annual and/or an entire four-year tuition obligation with some allowances for future increases. Gifts can be given to any program or area of interest at Concordia Theological Seminary or to expand any established endowment fund. Your gifts may also create a new endowment fund. Earned income from endowment funds may benefit any Seminary-approved program.
