The Rev. Carl Ferdinand Wilhelm Walther's connection to Concordia Theological Seminary occurred during the period when the two seminaries carried on their programs together in St. Louis (1861-1875). Dr. Walther's friendship with President Cramer greatly assisted with the management of the two-seminary system, which continues today.

Gifts at the Walther Society level represent the minimum "cost per student" for non-tuition class fees and educational supplies. Gifts can be given to any program or area of interest at Concordia Theological Seminary or to expand any established endowment fund.
