Concordia Theological Seminary 1846 - Present
Concordia Theological Seminary trains students for the pastoral ministry and other ministries of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, preparing confessional Lutheran pastors who are committed to the Word, Sacraments, and Liturgical Worship
| 1846 | Concordia Theological Seminary opens in Fort Wayne, Indiana

| 1857 | Teachers College and English Academy added to CTS campus
|
| 1861 | CTS moves to Missouri and shares the campus of the St. Louis Seminary
|
| 1875 | CTS moves to Springfield, Illinois
|
| 1935 | Synod commits to two-seminary system by standardizing programs and entrance requirements
|
| 1957 | Concordia Senior College opens in Fort Wayne
|
| 1960's | Springfield campus grows with influx of under-graduates from secular colleges and universities along with the allowance for married students
|
| 1970's | Enrollments at both seminaries experience increasing numbers of second-career candidates
|
| 1975 | Synod approves closure of Concordia Senior College with pre-seminary program moved to Concordia College, Ann Arbor, Michigan

| 1976 | CTS returns to Fort Wayne to continue its work on the former Senior College campus
