FORT WAYNE, Ind. (CTSFW)—In celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, the Good Shepherd Institute of Concordia Theological Seminary (CTSFW), Fort Wayne, will sponsor its second art exhibit in conjunction with its 2017 conference. The theme of the exhibit is based on the great Solas of the Reformation: Sola Gratia, Sola Fide, Sola Scriptura (Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone). All artwork submitted to the exhibit should in some way reflect one or more of these cornerstones of the Reformation. Complete entry information may be found at www.ctsfw.edu/GSIArt. The deadline for entry is July 15, 2017.

“Two years ago the Good Shepherd Institute sponsored its first exhibit and found that the added component of the visual arts greatly enriched both our conference and the experience for our students,” explained the Rev. Dr. Paul J. Grime, co-director of the Good Shepherd Institute Conference. “We look forward to this second go around, particularly as it coincides with the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.”

The art exhibit will be on display in the Wayne and Barbara Kroemer Library complex on the CTSFW campus November 5, 2017–January 31, 2018. Questions concerning the exhibit may be directed to GSI@ctsfw.edu or 260.452.2224.
