The ATLA Religion Database provides information on topics such as biblical studies, world religions, church history, and religion in social issues. ATLA contains more than one million bibliographic records covering the research literature of religion in 35 languages. It includes more than 350,000 article citations from 600 journals, more than 200,000 essay citations from 15,500 multi-author works, and over 360,000 book review citations. Most coverage spans from 1949 to the present and is an essential resource for researchers and students in theology as well as in social sciences, history and humanities. ATLAS is a project of ATLA which provides access to the full text of over fifty theological journals. It is produced by the American Theological Library Association.

This database is linked to ATLAS and other full text sources, providing access to the content of some of the articles cited in the database.
