Title:

Staff Changes

SOME CHANGES ARE HARDER TO SEE THAN OTHERS

When the (former) Access Services Coordinator, Ruth Gaba, finished her master's work in library science this past summer, she became the library's Access Services Librarian, picking up more of the public services duties. This gave Director Robert Roethemeyer the chance to make several more changes, to align people and priorities. Patty Braden was appointed the Serials Librarian, and Richard Lammert was appointed the Technical Services Librarian. Bob Smith, Electronic Services Librarian, did not get a title change, but will be working with Ruth Gaba in sharing public services duties.

What does this mean? We should fear, love, and trust All of us here in the library are here to serve you as you study to be pastors. The title changes do not change that basic understanding of our work. We will continue to help you in your studies; our titles do not limit us in what we can or will do in helping you. Ask any of us for help, and you will get it.

One other (almost) invisible change: Natalie Watt married Bill Sabol on August 23, and is now Natalie Sabol. The change is almost invisible: there is that ring on her finger—and I do think she looks happier!
