Concordia Theological Seminary Closes the 162nd Academic Year, Friday May 16th.  
The baccalaureate service took place at 10:00 a.m. in Kramer Chapel. The preacher for this service was the Reverend David J. Bueltmann, President of the Central Illinois District. The speaker for the graduation ceremony, which took place in Kramer Chapel at 6:00 p.m., was the Reverend Daniel P. May, President of the Indiana District. Congratulations Graduates!

 

The Candidate Placement Service took place on Wednesday, April 23 on the seminary campus.  Candidates for the Pastoral Office received calls into the Holy Ministry at a vespers service at Kramer Chapel.  Students received vicarage assignments at a vespers service at Kramer Chapel on Tuesday, April 22.

 

Christians and the Challenge of Islam!  Concordia Theological Seminary hosted its first seminar on Islam led by Dr. Adam Francisco.  The 2008 Challenge of Islam Seminar was held on April 19 in Sihler Auditorium.  DVDs of the conference are available for $30 online or by calling 260-452-2241.

 

Concordia Theological Seminary's Good Shepherd Institute of Pastoral Theology and Sacred Music announces the release of an 80-minute DVD with Dolby Surround Stereo called: Singing the Faith - Living the Lutheran Musical Heritage.
