Pilgrimage
Mary Bridges, CTS Relocation Coordinator
Every time I read our Blue News publication it is evident that our students are cared for by our extended seminary family. Often there is a thank-you for the "gift" left in their mailbox. It may be a gift card for the gas station, a store, or restaurant, or a monetary gift to assist a student or family in need. Other times there is joy in announcing the birth of a child, an engagement, an upcoming special event, or perhaps a prayer request for a vicar or pastor and his family. Announcements of book giveaways from retiring pastors who wish to share their libraries with future pastors; notes when guys are needed to help unload a big shipment for the Food Co-op, or a list of donated furniture recently given to the Clothing Co-op; all speak to the care shown our students.
Working in the Admission Office I get to view the caring firsthand. Pat Painter puts a dynamite schedule together for prospective students, setting up appointments with the President and many of our departments on campus, providing opportunities to meet with other students and observe classes. Whatever your needs are during a visit here, Pat does her best to take care of everything. Everyone on campus is here because they have a passion for our mission, a love for our students and our Lord! Won’t you join us? We welcome you into this community built on the faith and love for our Lord in service to Him.
