So, you’re seriously considering the vocation of pastor or deaconess. One of the first questions you’ve probably asked yourself is where shall I attend? When making such an important decision, you will want to gather as much information as you can, and the semi-annual Prayerfully Consider Campus Visits are the best way to do just that. The next visit is scheduled for September 21-23. All you need do to attend is to fill out and return the enclosed registration form or register online at www.ctsfw.edu, select Events, select Prayerfully Consider. There is no registration fee and all on-campus meals and housing are provided at no charge.

Some of the highlights of the visit include:

  • Worship with the entire seminary community. At CTS worship is woven into the very fabric of day-to-day life with worship offered four times daily.
  • Meet with the seminary President. Dr. Dean O. Wenthe, President of CTS, will host the attendees for a special reception and dinner. At that time you will hear Dr. Wenthe’s vision for CTS and how you will fit into that picture. Members of our faculty and staff will also be available to visit with you and discuss the opportunities available at CTS.
  • Opportunities to attend classes and visit with our world-renowned faculty. CTS has been blessed with an extraordinary and diverse faculty. Besides comprehensive academic credentials (80 percent of CTS faculty have earned the doctorate or terminal degree in their field), all our faculty members demonstrate the knowledge attitude, and skills to prepare CTS students for service in the church.
  • Tour the Food and Clothing Co-op. CTS is blessed with an incredible Clothing and Food Co-op where many students find they can acquire about 70% of their needed grocery items. There is no charge for items at the Co-op; in exchange for these services students agree to work just two hours a month at the Co-op.
  • Visit Christ’s Child Learning Corner (CCLC). With a move to the seminary many families experience the need for dependable, affordable, secure daycare. CCLC is a registered child care of the state of Indiana and provides quality care right on the seminary campus.
  • Attend the Display Fair. Representatives from the Fort Wayne community will be available to discuss, employment opportunities, housing, and education.
  • Plenty of time to meet with "the experts." Our Relocation Coordinator, Financial Aid Director, and Dean of Students will be available to meet with all participants.
