Veterans Benefits
Concordia Theological Seminary is approved for the instruction and training of veterans
under Section 1775, Title 38, U.S. Code and Public Law 95-202 by the Indiana State Approving
Agency. We participate in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) work-study program by
having a student representative who assists students that are eligible for veterans benefits.
Are you eligible for Montgomery GI Bill benefits?
Information about these two benefit programs is located on the
Department of Veterans website. http://www.gibill.va.gov/
Applications for these benefits routinely require over eight weeks
for processing (by the VA), so apply for your benefits while you are still
in the service, or in any case apply well before you arrive at Concordia
Theological Seminary.
Once on campus, contact the Registrar who is also the VA
Certifying Official for the seminary.
On campus assistance:
At your initial meeting,
the Registrar/V.A. Certifying Official will set up your CTS online file and,
upon verification of your eligibility from the VA, prepare a certification of
your "level of training" (full, 3/4 time, 1/2 time). This "level
of training" keys the VA to the appropriate level of payment.
