Theme: Jesus Christ: The Presence of the Future

This year’s Advent Preaching Seminar will study and reflect on the Advent texts of the Three Year Lectionary: Series C. The goal will be a fresh reading of their original message to enrich the church’s preparation for and understanding of the Incarnation of Jesus Christ. Special attention will be focused on the verbs and syntax of the Hebrew and Greek of the appointed pericopes for the enhancement and proclamation and application to the church’s life today.
The workshop will meet from 1:30-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6.
