CTS Announces Placements and Assignments for Vicars, Deaconess Interns and Pastoral Candidates

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (CTS)—The Spring Placement and Assignment Services on April 29 and 30 at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Ind., were blessed with attendance by good friends and family, beautiful weather and placements and assignments for vicars, deaconess interns and pastoral candidates. CTS students will serve God’s people in locales all across the United States, as well as Australia, the Dominican Republic, New Guinea and Peru. The list of all announced placements and assignments can be found at www.ctsfw.edu/Placements. Archived video of the Vicarage and Deaconess Internship Assignment Service (April 29) can be found here, and from the Candidate Call Service (April 30) here.

“The Spring Placement Services mark a milestone in the lives of the students at CTS. We rejoice in the fact that our vicars, deaconess interns and pastoral candidates have been placed and assigned throughout the world to serve in rural congregations, inner-city missions and all points in between,” commented CTS President, Dr. Lawrence R. Rast Jr. “We pray God's richest blessings on them and their congregations as they teach the faithful, reach the lost and care for all.”

We look forward to the Deaconess Placement Service on May 16 at 10:00 a.m. in Kramer Chapel. On May 17 we will celebrate the close of the academic year with Baccalaureate at 10:00 a.m. and Commencement Ceremonies at 6:00 p.m., both in Kramer Chapel (all times are Eastern Daylight Time). Those who cannot be on campus for these services can watch live by going to www.ctsfw.edu and clicking on the Watch Live! link.
