Vicarage/Deaconess Internship Assignment Service, April 29, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. in Kramer Chapel. The Rev. Glenn D. Meyer, pastor of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, will serve as preacher for the service.
Candidate Placement Service, April 30, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. in Kramer Chapel. The Rev. Dwayne M. Lueck, president of the North Wisconsin District of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, will be the preacher.
Deaconess Placement Service, May 22, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. in Kramer Chapel.

10:00 a.m.: Baccalaureate, the Rev. Richard Resch, CTS Kantor, will serve as preacher.
3:00 p.m.: Organ Recital
6:00 p.m.: Commencement Ceremony, the Rev. Ulmer Marshall, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Mobile, Ala., and Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Point Clear, Ala., will serve as speaker. He will also receive the Doctor of Divinity Honoris Causa, during the ceremony.

Christ Academy—High School, June 15–28, 2014 For two weeks each summer, high school-aged men of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod are offered the opportunity to delve deeper into their faith, enjoy the seminary experience and make friendships that will last a lifetime while attending Christ Academy—High School. Primer Level for Organists and Service Playing for Pianists
June 16–20, 2014
This dual-track workshop is intended for novice organists as well as musicians who play piano or electronic keyboard for worship services. Organists who have had little or no formal training, who have been drafted into playing the organ, who do not play pedals or use only one foot are ideal candidates. Pianists who play for worship will learn more about how to lead congregational singing of hymns and liturgy from the piano. All students will have group classes in theology and hymnody.
Level II for Organists and Choral Track
June 23–27, 2014
For intermediate-level organists who have completed Level I and choral directors wishing to study the Lutheran Theology of Worship and choral fundamentals, with emphasis on making choices for the Lutheran service. In addition to daily sessions on the theology of worship, there will be sessions on the playing of hymns, liturgy, intonations, chorale preludes, leading challenging hymns, choral literature and the art of conducting the parish choir.

Phoebe Academy—High School, August 1–3, 2014 Phoebe Academy–High School (PA–HS) provides an opportunity for high school women to lean about the vocation of deaconess in the church from a theological perspective. Attendees will explore God's Word on Mercy and what it means for us today while developing friendships with like-minded women that can last a lifetime. They will also meet deaconesses who are serving in the church, learn what they do and how they are trained to serve.
