"It has been a great privilege to be part of educating and placing all of these very gifted candidates,” says Prof. Jeffrey Pulse, director of Placement and Vicarage at CTS. “As many who have come in contact with these students have noted, 'If these are the quality of students being prepared by our seminaries, then the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod is in fine shape.'"
The Rev. Mark Miller, Central Illinois District president, will serve as preacher for the Vicarage/Deaconess Internship Assignment service and the Rev. John Wille, South Wisconsin District president, will preach for the Candidate Placement service. We are also privileged to have the Rev. Russell Sommerfeld, Nebraska District president, preach during the 10:00 a.m. chapel service on Monday, April 29 and the Rev. Dr. Matthew Harrison, president, The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod preach for the 10:00 a.m. service on Tuesday, April 30.
We ask that you keep these students in your prayers as they go forward as servants of Jesus Christ who teach the faithful, reach the lost and care for all.
