The theme for the Symposium on Exegetical Theology, January 22-23, is "Love and Marriage: Does the Bible Still Mean What it Says?" The Symposium on the Lutheran Confessions has chosen "Morality and Ethics in the Church and in the Public Square: The Lutheran Challenge" as its theme and will take place January 23–25. We are also pleased to have Dr. Jean S. Garton, first president of Lutherans for Life and author of Who Broke the Baby, as the speaker for the banquet on Thursday, January 24. Seating is limited for the banquet.
Not everyone who is registering for Symposia Series 2013 will be on campus. They will be watching via the internet as the presentations are broadcast live. The registration fee for the live stream is $75.00 and will allow viewers to enjoy all four days of Symposia 2013. Those choosing this option will need a computer with Adobe Flash Player 10, or later. Most broadband connections will work fine, although a faster connection will ensure better video quality. Recent upgrades to the seminary’s network will ensure a great experience for those watching from all over the world.
We look forward to having our friends and alumni join us either on campus or via the internet for Symposia 2013 this January.
