Student Services
ORIENTATION EVENTS AND INFORMATION

All students, who start(ed) during Winter, Spring, and Summer of 2007-2008 and Fall of 2008-2009, and their families are invited to attend the following Orientation events from Thursday through Sunday.

  1. New Student Orientation -- Thursday, September 4 and Friday, September 5
    All students who start(ed) during Winter, Spring, and Summer of 2007-08 and Fall of 2008-09 are required to attend. The Thursday session begins at 9:00 a.m. in Loehe Hall, Room 7 and Friday’s session begins at 7:45 a.m.
  2. Hello Picnic -- Thursday, September 4, 5:00-6:30 p.m.
    This is a great time for the whole family to relax from moving and to get acquainted with some of your new class members and their families. You will also meet some of the faculty and their families.
  3. Student Wives Orientation -- Thursday, September 4, 6:30-8:00 p.m.
    Following the Hello Picnic, new student wives are invited to Luther Hall to get acquainted with other seminary wives and receive information regarding this group.
  4. Lutheran Hour Picnic -- Friday, September 5, 12:00-1:00 p.m.
    This picnic is for the whole family and is sponsored by the Lutheran Hour Ministries. This is a time for relaxing, meeting new people and finding out more about Lutheran Hour Ministries. At this time, each student will be presented with an extremely generous gift from Lutheran Hour Ministries, the single volume of WHAT LUTHER SAYS.
  5. Orientation Banquet -- Friday, September 5, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
    You and your spouse are cordially invited to attend the annual CTS Opening Orientation Banquet. The Orientation Banquet will be held in the Dining Hall on campus beginning promptly at 6:00 p.m. and is scheduled to end at 8:00 p.m. Babysitting will be provided on campus.
  6. Faculty Hospitality Hour -- Friday, September 19, 7:00-8:00 p.m.
    New students and their spouses are invited to be guests of the Faculty. The Hospitality Hour will be held from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Babysitting will be provided on campus.

It is essential that we develop an accurate count of the number of people who will be in attendance at each of these events. Please RSVP to all of these events at http://www.ctsfw.edu/students/arrival/dining-events.php within two weeks of receipt of your pre-registration letter.
