All students at Concordia Theological Seminary are members of the Student Association. The student activity fees support the student government. The intent of the SA is to serve the needs of students. Whether it's student spiritual life and growth, student welfare, intramural athletics and other social activities the purpose of SA is to provide outlets and opportunities for the lives of students.

The SA also works together with the Dean of Students and the Seminary administration to appropriately plan and coordinate some campus activities and events and to adequately communicate any student concerns or issues. All students are encourage to participate and be an active part of its activities. There are 9 student officers in SA who are paid a stipend out of student fees for their services.
