Skillful and Discerning: Cultivating Our Callings
The annual Good Shepherd Institute Conference is November 9–11 at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne. This year’s theme, “Skillful and Discerning: Cultivating Our Callings,” encourages people of all vocations to consider how they can serve God skillfully, beautifully, and with care and concern.
Each night of GSI features a music event, and the hymn festival is always a highlight. Kantor Kevin Hildebrand, co-director of the Good Shepherd Institute, says, “Two years ago, seminary choirs joined local church choirs at St. Paul’s in downtown Fort Wayne. This year, we will once again hold a hymn festival at St. Paul’s and are thrilled to have the Concordia Lutheran High School A Cappella choir joining us. We hope you can be there, too.”
