There is still time to register!

Students going through confirmation instruction are invited to Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (CTSFW), February 13–15 for a weekend of confessional catechesis, liturgical worship, and life together.

The Christ Academy Confirmation Retreat supplements students’ confirmation instruction. The spring retreat features sessions on the Lord’s Prayer led by CTSFW Professor of Pastoral Ministry and Missions Rev. Michael Salemink.

The weekend costs $120 for each individual (whether student or chaperone), which includes food, housing, classes, and activities.

The confirmation retreat exposed the youth of my congregation to more of our church body, gave them an opportunity to get an in-depth look at one aspect of their lives as Christians, and allowed them to hear more about serving our Lord’s church. Pastors, here is a retreat you don’t have to set up and organize. The speaker, the food, even the activities are taken care of by an institution committed to confessional Lutheran catechesis.
