2023 September — 178th Year at CTSFW Now Underway

“I look forward to the finishing touches on my pastoral formation. It feels a little like what the disciples experienced between Jesus’ resurrection and ascension. They had learned a lot through Jesus’ ministry and had begun to internalize its meaning after his resurrection, but they still awaited when Jesus would be reigning from his Father’s throne and the full ministry was all theirs. I’m sure they had many questions and lessons in those last 40 days, and that’s what I expect this last year: honing my skills and abilities before the duties and responsibilities of a pastor are solely mine.”

–John, 4th-year CTSFW student

John and his fellow 4th-year students at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (CTSFW), have entered the home stretch of their seminary education. In less than a year, God willing, they’ll join the ranks of the rostered church workers of The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod as faithful servants who teach the faithful, reach the lost, and care for all.

Our future pastors and deaconesses will carry a message of hope to the world—the most important message in the world.

Dear Christian, your prayers and financial support make this possible. When you support CTSFW and its students with your current giving and future bequests, you help ensure that the Gospel of Christ continues to go forth.

For that, we are truly grateful.Give to CTSFW
