2024 May — Commencement Is Just the Beginning

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9

Commencement Is Just the Beginning

Friday, May 18, marked the end of the formal formation process for our graduating students at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (CTSFW), but it’s not the end of their journey.

Soon these students, including 37 pastors-elect and _ deaconesses-elect, will be heading out to serve congregations of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod all across the country and in the international mission field.

Wherever they find themselves, our graduates will handle the work God has given them with confidence, having been prepared by the patient mentoring and faithful guidance of our expert faculty and supported by CTSFW’s Christ-centered community, along with family, friends . . . and you!

The mission of CTSFW—to form servants in Jesus Christ who teach the faithful, reach the lost, and care for all—is only possible by God’s grace and with your help. We’re grateful for all the gifts that have supported the Class of 2024, and for gifts that will continue to support the essential work for forming faithful servants for the Church.

God bless you now and forever in the knowledge and peace of Jesus Christ.Give A Gift
