On March 19, 2023, Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (CTSFW), will host two public lectures that highlight the work of Otto Dix (1891–1969), one of the greatest German Expressionist artists of the first half of the 20th century.

Otto Dix was known for his work in the 1920s that focused on those at the margins of society. He was deeply impacted by his service in World War I, and his early work reflects those experiences. His post-World War II work was largely religious in nature, and during that time he produced an important series of lithographs depicting the book of Matthew, now on display at CTSFW,

The Otto Dix lectures are free and will take place in Sihler Auditorium on the campus of CTSFW.
