UPCOMING EVENTS AT CTSFW
WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITIES FOR LEARNING THIS JANUARY…
Join us this January for the Seminary’s largest and most popular event of the year: Symposia, happening January 17–20, 2023! The 38th Annual Symposium on Exegetical Theology will explore Faith, Family, and Formation on January 17 and 18; the 46th Annual Symposium on the Lutheran Confessions, taking place January 18–20, will explore Theological Perspectives. Visit ctsfw.edu/Symposia to learn more.
Monday, January 16, 2023, pastors will be gathering for a one-day Lenten preaching workshop titled, “Promised Treasures.” The Rev. Dr. Timothy R. Puls, Director of Alumni and Church Relations at CTSFW, will present resources for creating a weekly sensory Lenten journey focused on repentance, reflection, strength, and hope in Christ’s death and resurrection. For full details and to register, visit ctsfw.edu/LPW.
RICH MUSICAL OPPORTUNITIES COMING IN JANUARY…
Each January as part of CTSFW’s annual Symposia series, the Music and Chapel Department hosts a week of worship services and opportunities that are free to the public. On Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 5:00 p.m., there will be a Choral Vespers service with the CTSFW Schola Cantorum. This will be followed up Wednesday night with an Epiphany Evening Prayer service, also at 5:00 p.m. The final event of the week will be a Vespers and Organ Recital Thursday, January 19, 2023, starting at 4:15 p.m.
You can learn more about all of these events by visiting our Events page at ctsfw.edu/events. These three opportunities will be livestreamed to the public. You can watch at ctsfw.edu/daily-chapel.
