Seventeen Students Honored at Awards Presentation
FORT WAYNE, May 7, 2026—Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (CTSFW), held its annual end-of-year awards presentation at the conclusion of the morning service in Kramer Chapel May 5, honoring seventeen award recipients. Awards were presented by representatives from the Exegetical Theology, Systematic Theology, Pastoral Ministry and Missions, and Historical Theology departments; the Graduate School; the Deaconess Formation Program; and the Student Association.
After the students received their awards, Jonathan Poppe, president of the Class of 2026, presented the class gift, The Great Works of God, Part Eight: The Mysteries of Christ in the Book of Numbers by Valerius Herberger, translated by Matthew Carver. Copies of the translation will be donated to the CTSFW library and the library at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis.
“We pray that this book will serve for the edification of the church throughout the entire world,” Poppe said.
