Chaplain Candidate Scholarship Program

Concordia Theological Seminary (CTSFW) is pleased to offer this scholarship in partnership with the Chaplain Candidate program of the US military. CTSFW reserves the right to limit the number scholarships awarded per year and may limit the total award amount based upon a student’s institutional aid package. This scholarship will be given only to qualified applicants who must re-apply again each year for consideration. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in the MDiv program and be admitted into the US military Chaplain Candidate program. Should a selected applicant for this scholarship fail to be admitted into the US military’s Chaplain Candidate program within 120 days of matriculation, the student will forfeit scholarship eligibility. Additionally, this scholarship will not be awarded to students who no longer serve in the Chaplain Candidate program. Selected students must maintain good academic standing and remain in the Chaplain Candidate program for the duration of the scholarship. The student shall submit documented proof to the CTSFW Financial Aid Office that he has been admitted into the US military Chaplain Candidate program.
