Biography
The Rev. Dr. Timothy Puls has served Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (CTSFW), since 1997. He was dean of students for 11 years and assistant vice president of Church Relations for four years before assuming his present role as an Advancement officer in 2011. He serves as a Christian development executive and assists donors with planned giving as a stewardship associate of the LCMS Foundation.
Puls completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in humanities from Concordia University Irvine in 1985, a Master of Divinity (MDiv) in 1989 and a Master of Sacred Theology (STM) in 2000, both at CTSFW. He earned his Doctorate of Education in organizational leadership (EdD) at Indiana Wesleyan University, Marion, Indiana, in 2011. Prior to serving at CTSFW, he was a pastor at two congregations in Colorado for over eight years.
He and his wife, Beth, have four sons and two grandchildren.
