There are days until the spring confirmation retreat!

Join Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (CTSFW), for a formative weekend of confessional catechesis, liturgical worship, and life together February 13–15, 2026.

Professor of Pastoral Ministry and Missions Rev. Michael Salemink will lead sessions on the Lord’s Prayer to supplement students’ confirmation instruction. Young people preparing for confirmation will also spend time in worship and Christian fellowship.

The weekend costs $120 for each individual (whether student or chaperone), which includes food, housing, classes, and activities.

The confirmation retreat exposed the youth of my congregation to more of our church body, gave them an opportunity to get an in-depth look at one aspect of their lives as Christians, and allowed them to hear more about serving our Lord’s church. Pastors, here is a retreat you don’t have to set up and organize. The speaker, the food, even the activities are taken care of by an institution committed to confessional Lutheran catechesis.
