Thank you for participating in Giving Tuesday last week at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (CTSFW). Your gift joined those of many brothers and sisters in Christ who care deeply about the preparation of future pastors and deaconesses for service in Christ’s Church.

By God’s grace, and through the generosity of donors like you, our initial $75,000 gift was matched—and surpassed! The day after Giving Tuesday, we were delighted to report that donors contributed an additional $92,838 in support of faithful formation at CTSFW, bringing the Giving Tuesday total to $167,838. The gifts continued to come in, andby the end of the week, the total climbed to $186,693.

Your gift will impact formation at CTSFW well into the future. Support for the restoration of the windows and skylights in Kramer Chapel will renew a space where the community gathers around the Lord’s Word and Sacraments. At the same time, gifts designated for a new one-level Food and Clothing Co-op will help provide an accessible place where students and their families receive daily provisions at no cost as they prepare for a life of service to the Church.

In these projects, your gift is part of something larger than any single day. You are helping CTSFW honor the gifts entrusted by previous generations while strengthening this campus as a place where future servants are faithfully formed in Christ for generations to come.
