GENERAL PASTOR CERTIFICATION
Pastors who have completed the SMP program and would like to attain General Pastor Certification and roster status in The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod can have their SMP course credits applied toward an Alternate Route certificate program or a Master of Divinity degree program.

MISSIONARY FORMATION CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
Missionaries serving in the field can bolster their knowledge of missions in the online Missionary Formation Certificate program. The program consists of five eight-week modules that focus on various topics in missions such as the Missio Dei and the role of missiology in theological formation. No academic prerequisites are required.
