Wee Ones Explore the Stations of Lent

Our most recent special Word for the Wee event featured the theme “Stations of Lent.” Using a trail of clothing and palm branches, the wee ones stopped at various spots in the library to hear stories and peruse beautiful art. Their first stop was Ash Wednesday, where they got to feel the scratchy itch of burlap and considered dressing in sackcloth and sitting in ashes. Next, the children arrived at Palm Sunday. Lilly Endowment Inc. Awards Grant for Collaborative Pastoral Formation Project

Opening Ceremony Draws Crowd to Campus

This past week, CTSFW was very blessed to be able to partner with the Lutheran Basketball Association of America (LBAA) to host the opening ceremony for the 74th annual national basketball tournament. The Final Four championship rounds of 2022’s Iron Preacher Tournament took place on the evening of March 18.
