CTSFW Call Day 2019

Dr. Weinrich congratulates last year's candidates as they wait to enter Kramer Chapel to receive their calls.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (CTSFW)—

And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.

Ephesians 4:11-14

Exactly four weeks from today, we celebrate with the whole Church as candidates for the pastoral office at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (CTSFW), receive their Divine Call and discover where they will serve as shepherds of Christ’s flock after graduation in May. The Candidate Call Service will take place in Kramer Chapel on Tuesday, April 30, at 7:00 p.m. (EDT).

The evening before, deaconess students and second-year seminarians find out where they will serve as an intern or vicar, at the Vicarage and Deaconess Internship Assignment Service on Monday, April 29, also at 7:00 p.m. (EDT). Both services are open to the public and will be livestreamed as well at callday.ctsfw.edu. Bookmark this page for later viewing, as you will be able to watch the services live here as well as view the list of candidates, vicars, and deaconess interns. The list will be updated with calls and assignments as the information is announced during the services.
