All Alumni Reunion 2022: May 18-20
This spring, 2022, we are enthusiastically celebrating an ALL Alumni Concordia Theological Seminary Class Reunion. Since COVID-19 took the energy and steam out of many people, pastors, and church workers, you are invited to Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Retreat, Relax, and Reconnect. Our goal is get representation from as many classes as possible for this special Reunion.
New Features for this Reunion: Wednesday, May 18
First, there will be a CTSFW Alumni and Friends Golf Outing on Wednesday, May 18, registration begins at 10:00 a.m. with a Shot Gun Start at 11:00 a.m. (See CTSFW Golf Outing Brochure)
Second, other venues of entertainment and exercise will be available both on and off campus. On campus, there is a new Disc Golf Course as well as new, paved nature trails at the rear of campus where you can stroll, bike, walk or run. It is connects to the River Greenway. Further, there are also local museums and parks (I.e. Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg Museum, the Veterans Memorial Shrine and Museum, and/or the Fort Wayne Botanical Gardens) which you may enjoy.
Third, following those afternoon events, there will be an Alumni Picnic at 5:30 p.m. Burgers and brats will be served.
Finally, on Thursday, May 19, there will be Gemutlickeit Reception at 5:15 p.m., followed by the Alumni Banquet at 6:00 p.m. The evening will conclude at 7:30 p.m. with a 30-40 minute Hymn Sing in Kramer Chapel.
Schedule and Registration:
The Reunion formally begins on Thursday, May 19, with registration and a large amount of free time for you to reconnect with former classmates. Individual groups of classmates may meet on or off campus (See the enclosed Alumni Reunion Schedule and Registration Form).
Lodging:
Lodging is available off campus with some CTSFW recommendations (See CTSFW Hotel Pricing for 2022). In addition, a limited number of guest rooms are available on campus. Reservations go through the Front Desk, (260-452-2105).
Classmate Information:
In order to make this a truly memorable event, first, please share this information with your classmates and friends soon. Second, if they do not receive this information, then please share with us their accurate personal information so that we may contact them as well (phone numbers, physical address or email address). Third, we intend to print Class Directories for every class for the Reunion, but if you wish to have a Directory of your individual class please email me soon.
Finally, we are formally acknowledging the faithful service of all of our Alumni at the Baccalaureate Service @ 10:00 am on Friday, May 20. The Alumni Reunion will conclude with the President’s luncheon (See the enclosed Alumni Reunion Schedule and Registration Form).
