Singing with God’s Saints through the Ages

June 27, 2022-June 29, 2022

For centuries, God has blessed His Church with faithful poets who have put the Word of God into verse and composers who have crafted inviting and memorable tunes to deliver these truths to us. This class will take an in-depth look at the rich variety of hymns sung by Christians today. We’ll examine Luther’s efforts to restore congregational singing, take a look at the first efforts at hymnody in English, and make our way to the present day to see how God continues to bring fresh expressions of the Gospel into our worship and lives.
