Classical Lutheran Homiletics
August 9, 2022-August 12, 2022
Has our preaching changed from 50 or 100 or 200 years ago? Find out how our fathers in the faith thought about things like how to make faithful applications, how to discuss the Christian life, whether to memorize a manuscript or speak from an outline, and how to remain Biblically textual and faithful in many different pastoral circumstances. We will look at the insights of Reinhold Pieper, J. Michael Reu, John Jacob Rambach, and many other teachers and preachers from the treasures of the past.
