CTSFW Summer Learning: Continuing Education, High School Academies, and Workshops for Organists

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (CTSFW)—Registration has opened for a number of summer learning opportunities either hosted at or through Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (CTSFW). They are:

Continuing Education, June–August
This summer, CTSFW is offering 25 continuing education sites across the country for theological learning with our faculty and other teachers. Registration has opened for sites in California, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska (hosted by the Wyoming District), New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Christ Academy High School, June 14–27
Christ Academy High School is open for those entering their freshman year through those who have completed their senior year in high school (ages 13–18). It is split into two separate academies, Christ Academy: Timothy School for men and Christ Academy: Phoebe School for women. Participants explore the vocations of pastor or deaconess, worship in Kramer Chapel, learn theology from CTSFW faculty, and have fun together, building lifelong friendships along the way. Basic Level Organists and Service Playing for Pianists, June 15–19
Intermediate & Advanced Level Organists, June 22–26
These two, five-day workshops help organists (and pianists) of all skill levels improve their service playing. Participants should choose which workshop they attend according to their preferred instrument and skill level.
