FORT WAYNE, IN, September 24, 2021—Assistant Director of Deaconess Formation Rose Adle was installed at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, on Monday, September 20, 2021.
Deaconess Rose Adle earned a BA in Spanish from Valparaiso University in Indiana in 2003. She graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, in 2006 with an MA in deaconess studies and systematic theology. Her deaconess internship was on the mission field in Caracas, Venezuela. She has been teaching online deaconess classes for CTSFW since 2010. She and her husband, Scott, live in Collinsville, IL with their six children, James, Maria, John, Joel, Eudora, and Grace. Scott is a pastor at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and School. Rosie likes to help there in a variety of children’s and women’s care settings.
Deaconess Adle spoke of her love of teaching and passion for her work. “I began teaching deaconess classes to faithful Lutheran women during my deaconess internship in Venezuela in 2005–2006. Since that time, God has granted me many opportunities to share His Word and His call to mercy with women preparing for deaconess service.
“I love teaching online classes for the distance deaconess students of CTSFW. It is an honor and happiness for me to continue in this work. I am committed to praying for our students, sharing in their lives, and contributing to their overall formation experience, not only in reference to diaconal skills, but also with respect to the diaconal character and spirit that we hope to cultivate with God’s help. I have great joy in my role and appreciate the support and direction I receive from the Seminary, and especially Deaconess Rast and Dr. Bushur, as I strive to care for our students with the love of Christ.”
Please join CTSFW in thanking God for Deaconess Adle and asking that the Lord continue to bless her work in service of the Church.
Soli Deo Gloria
