Online Pre-Seminary Greek

Concordia Theological Seminary offers New Testament pre-seminary Greek as an online course. It will cover the same material as the ten-week intensive course but will extend over a longer period of time. Each of the three levels (Level I – Greek I; Level 2 – Greek II; and Level 3 – Greek III) awards the equivalent of four undergraduate quarter-hour credits (12 quarter hours total) so one should expect to dedicate 8-10 hours per week to the class.

The online, pre-seminary Greek courses are taken on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis. Successful completion of the three-level, online courses will satisfy the pre-seminary Biblical Greek requirement needed for EXT 110 Gospels I. These courses must be taken no more than four years prior to the student’s matriculation date into the Master of Divinity or Alternate Route program. These courses could also possibly be transferred into an undergraduate degree program. Prior approval of the receiving institution is recommended.
