LCMS Campus Ministry Conference Coming to Fort Wayne

College students visit CTSFW.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (CTSFW)—To connect with Lutheran college students, the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) works through LCMS U to help and encourage these young men and women as they face a world that will challenge their biblical worldview. This year’s annual LCMS Campus Ministry Conference on “Witness” will take place from January 2–5, 2019, here in Fort Wayne.

Though most of the conference will be held at Purdue University Fort Wayne, on Friday they will shift locations to the campus of Concordia Theological Seminary (CTSFW), Fort Wayne, to spend about twelve hours at the Seminary. College students and campus-ministry workers from across the country will break out into sectionals to discuss the topic of witnessing to a world lost to darkness. That evening they will also have the opportunity to worship in Kramer Chapel for the service of Evening Prayer, followed by pizza, a keynote speaker, and then fun activities across the campus.

“We are extremely excited to be partnering with the LCMS U and the local Purdue Fort Wayne LCMS U chapter to co-host the Witness Conference this January,” said the Rev. Matthew Wietfeldt, Director of Admission at CTSFW. “There is no better opportunity to attend this phenomenal conference and to also explore what it is that CTSFW has to offer.”

Registration for the conference closes in a week, on October 15. To register, go to https://lcms.regfox.com/campus-ministry-conference.
