Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (CTSFW) is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and Christ-centered learning and working environment. Sexual harassment, sexual assault, or any form of sexual misconduct is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated among faculty, staff, administration, students, applicants, or visitors.
Seminary Policy
CTSFW’s Sexual Misconduct Policy outlines rights, responsibilities, and processes for reporting and responding to concerns. The full policy is available in:

Title IX Resources
What Title IX Means
Title IX is a federal law that protects students, employees, and applicants from discrimination based on sex in education programs and activities. This includes protection against sexual harassment, sexual assault, and gender-based misconduct.
Training & Awareness
CTSFW provides regular training for faculty, staff, and students to ensure the Seminary community understands their rights and responsibilities under Title IX. Training materials and resources are available upon request.
Reporting Concerns
Anyone who experiences, witnesses, or becomes aware of possible sexual misconduct is encouraged to come forward. Reports can be made confidentially and without fear of retaliation. Contact information for the Seminary’s Title IX Coordinator will be provided on this page.
Support & Assistance
If you need immediate help, CTSFW offers confidential support and guidance. Students and employees have access to both on-campus and community-based resources for medical, counseling, spiritual, and legal assistance.

The Seminary partners with local and national organizations that provide advocacy, crisis intervention, and counseling. Links and contact numbers will be made available here.
Rights & Processes
Both complainants and respondents are entitled to a fair, respectful process under Seminary policy and federal law. This includes clear timelines, opportunities to present information, and access to support services throughout the process.

Individuals who are accused of misconduct will be treated with fairness and dignity. Respondents will receive clear information about the process, their rights, and available resources for support.
