Social Media Guidelines
Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (CTSFW), welcomes comments, input, and feedback on its social media platforms. We strive to foster the same spirit of interaction on social media that we see every day on our campus: polite, respectful, positive, and constructive, in keeping with our Lord’s words in John 15:12: “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.”
We acknowledge that, at times, posts or comments might prompt questions, differing viewpoints, and constructive criticism. As long as comments remain constructive and respectful, we’ll let them stand. Comments that are disparaging, vulgar, threatening, insulting, or needlessly contentious, on the other hand, will be deleted in the interests of building up, rather than tearing down, the body of Christ. Individuals who repeatedly fail to abide by these standards will be blocked.
A few other items on our “do not post” list:
- Direct and indirect solicitations.
- Links to personal pages, promotions, campaigns, or music.
- Posts containing material that may violate copyright laws.
- Sensitive, confidential, or personally identifiable information.
- Irrelevant or unclear posts.
CTSFW social media pages are not monitored 24 hours a day. As a result, there may be content in violation of the CTSFW social media policy that remains on our page for several hours before it can be removed. If you see content that appears to violate our community standards, please send us a direct message or email us at info@ctsfw.edu.
Comments on the Seminary’s social media pages represent the views and opinions of those who post them and do not necessarily represent the views or opinions of CTSFW.
