The Rev. Paul Hopkins joined the Advancement Office in May of 2018. As a member of the Advancement team he visits donors, prospective donors, and LCMS congregations, establishing relationships and requesting financial support for CTSFW. Paul received an undergraduate degree in Criminal/Social Justice from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois. For 20 years he worked in law enforcement in the Chicago area. In 2000 he made a career change and enrolled at CTSFW where he was awarded a Master of Divinity degree in 2005. Previous to his service at CTSFW, Pastor Hopkins served God’s people at St. Michael Lutheran Church in Rogers City, Michigan, and St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mattoon, Illinois. Rev. Hopkins and his wife, Joan, have three adult children, including Rev. James Hopkins, a 2015 graduate of CTSFW. They are also grandparents to six grandchildren.
