CTSFW Continuing Education offerings for both church workers and laypeople are available through October in nearly 30 locations from California to Iowa to North Carolina. Lutheranism & the Classics IV: Listening to the Poets takes place on our campus September 29–30, 2016. The conference celebrates Lutheranism’s engagement with the poets of the past and contemplates their value for the propagation of the faith to present and future generations. Christ Academy Confirmation: A Retreat for Confirmation-aged Boys and Girls

Theme: Angels, Demons and Ghosts–Oh My!
During this retreat we will take a look at the spiritual world which includes angels and demons. How do we see this world in the face of our daily struggles and temptations within a life in Christ? There is a real spiritual battle in this sinful world, so we must learn how to see it through the joy of the battle won in Christ Jesus.

Do you know someone you would like to encourage toward becoming a pastor or deaconess? One way is to tell them about the Prayerfully Consider Visit which takes place on our campus October 13–15, 2016. During this three-day event they will have the opportunity to experience daily life at the Seminary while worshiping with the CTSFW community, attending classes, meeting with faculty, learning about financial aid options and getting to know the Fort Wayne area. This event affords attendees the opportunity to immerse themselves in the day-to-day life at CTSFW.
