SEMINARY GUILD MEETINGS 

Meetings take place on the second Tuesday of every month during the academic year (except for January). Meetings typically begin with a presentation and conclude with a report on the work and ongoing projects of the Guild. Times and locations are:

Symposia Series, January 15–18
The annual Symposia Series at CTSFW is composed of two symposia, one on exegetical theology (now in its 34th year) and a second on the Lutheran Confessions (in its 42nd year). Guest speakers and faculty from CTSFW and other theological institutions will lecture on the following themes:

Lutheran Confessions: The Leipzig Debate: The Meaning of Biblical Authority

Christ Academy: Confirmation Retreat
February 15–17

Prayerfully Consider Campus Visit
March 21–23
This three-day campus visit runs twice a year (once in the spring and again in the fall) and is open to both second-career men and women as well as to college students considering a future vocation as a pastor or deaconess. Prospective students will stay in the dorms, eat in the dining hall, and explore and experience life as a Seminary student at no cost. Spouses and fiancés/fiancées are welcome.
