SUMMER EVENTS

Continuing Education
For a detailed list of locations, topics and speakers, visit www.ctsfw.edu/CE. Courses are listed alphabetically according to state and city, and are open to both laypeople and pastors. They cost $100 – $150 and $150 – $225, depending on if they’re 1.5 or 3.0 CEU. For additional questions or concerns, email CE@ctsfw.edu or call 260.452.2103.

The two courses taught on the CTSFW campus this year are taking place July 23-27 (“Early Christian Mercy to the Secular World” with Rev. Chad Kendall) and September 10-12 (“Access to Heaven on Earth in the Divine Service: The Theology of Worship in Hebrews” with Dr. John Kleinig).

Phoebe Academy High School
For young women in grades nine to twelve, Phoebe Academy from June 17–24 is a chance to explore the vocation of deaconess, learn what it is like to live and learn on campus, and to meet other theologically-minded women their age. Registration costs $400 for new applicants and $300 for returning attendees. The cost is all-inclusive, covering room, board and any additional events both on and off campus.

Christ Academy High School

Registration costs $600 for new applicants and $400 for returning attendees. The cost is all-inclusive, covering room, board and any additional events both on and off campus.

Church Interpreter Training Institute
For interpreters, church members and professional church workers who desire to reach out to the deaf community, the CITI Program will hold classes at CTSFW from June 28–July 1, which costs $350 for non-commuter (covering the cost of food and board), and $200 for commuters (which includes lunch only).

FALL CONFERENCES & LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

Lutheranism & the Classics V: Arguing with the Philosophers
